It is official the forums here on Olde Sage have officially been retired. After a long discussion among the remaining users, we have decided to retire the forums permanently. From the moderation, and myself I would like to thank you for your participation over the years. We have all been enriched through the opportunity to engage in conversation with people we may have otherwise not been able to talk to.
Long term bonds have been made and the last remaining active members have been given a chance to maintain that contact.
Why? Well the software used to run the forum was expensive, and while I hate to say that money played a role, it is undeniable. The cost for software updates as well as the monthly server demands for the BBS were too high. And it was because of this that we decided to retire the forums.
